FLOWKEY REGISTRATION

 

1. Wait mode!

'

Wait Mode' operates via your tablet or smartphone microphone and will move to the next bar of the song if it hears you play the correct notes. This is perfect for those trickier parts as learning them slowly will improve your memory.

2. Improve your left and right hand, or both!
Flowkey allows you to isolate the notes for either the left or right hand, helping you familiarise yourself with the melody and accompaniment in stages. When you are ready to put it together, just click 'both'.

3. Diverse song selection

 

With up to 20 different genres to choose from, Flowkey has something for all beginners and tastes. Some of the available songs are:

Classical: Fur Elise, Clair de Lune
Popular: Everything I Wanted- Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran- Perfect
Rock: Imagine- John Lennon, Another Brick in the Wall- Pink Floyd.
Asian Pop: Chasing the Light- Yoyo Sham, Later- Rene Liu.

4. Self-paced lessons
This is an extremely helpful beginner feature. Whereas 'Wait Mode' will only play through a selected section, the self-paced feature offers '50%' and '75%' speed for the whole piece. This allows you to slow down the whole song to better understand the melody, hand placements and structure.

5. No connectivity needed!

 

Where many other apps rely on connectivity, Flowkey is designed to get you playing as soon as possible. Simply rest your tablet or smart phone against the music rest and begin! Think of it as a digital music book!
